Motorola RAZR Review
We had known this model some time ago when it was introduced but well above since no one had tested the model, we now have the first review of this exciting new Smartphone from Motorola. In the great world of the new Smartphone manufacturers have opted for the formula of devices with dual-core processors, lots of camera megapixels and video recording in Full HD, besides the Android operating system. Motorola who is now widely associated with Google is launching its latest new RAZR, which arrives to compete with similar devices from competitors in the market. And everyone is wondering if this model launched in late position and will compete against the old models embodied the model …
In terms of design the new Motorola RAZR is a Smartphone that offers a modern and robust in their lines. Its body is made of Kevlar, this is one of the lighter, stronger materials that exist in the world ensuring greater wings resistance falls and accidents of everyday life. Those with the question of where they heard the word “Kevlar”, the answer is simple, is that this material is present in bulletproof vests. The phone is really thin same as a top which is slightly wider due to the camera, its thickness is 7.1 mm and no doubt is a partner in our pockets. The weak point maybe design is undoubtedly the upper region where the camera, there we have a distinct format with the other smart phones on the market. The problem is that without doubt is outgoing is a bit complicated when the blows and stripes of the camera lens.
On the hardware processor is a dual core 1.2 GHz and is the main highlight of Motorola RAZR model. Thanks to this operating system works very smoothly and fast, showing rapid responses to commands. In some applications we can see some problems of obstacles, a problem that does not happen with the Samsung Galaxy S II. Another major highlight is its generous 4.3-inch screen with Super AMOLED format, Gorilla Glass protection or a QHD resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The video playback is in high definition at 1080p. The screen also is just right for gaming with an optimal sensitivity and accuracy rather efficient. In some tests the model is almost as good as Galaxy S II models and even the phone 4.
NFC Technology Needs Time To iPhone And Android
More and more phones that include NFC technology for data transmission between terminals and especially to pay via mobile phone.
But not all terminals now include it which can be a problem since all indications are that it will become a standard widely used in the short term.
That’s why Device Fidelity and Spring Monet Card Systems have announced a service that is offered in collaboration with MasterCard Pay Pass and is associated with a reloadable prepaid card.
This is a new payment solution that adds functionality to any terminal Android NFC through a micros card. The card has a radio and antenna NFC encrypted.
Monet offers a case and an app for phone 4S, phone 4, phone 3G and phone 3. Is available now for $ 79.95 and includes in the price $ 10 preloaded balance.
Cards for Android will be on sale in two or three weeks for an approximate price of $ 30. In this case, the cards are inserted into the Android device, and come with an NFC sticker that sticks to the inside of the casing to improve the signal.
Google Making Mistakes To Buy Motorola
Adam Hurting presents a strong case on the blog where Forbes says that Google made a big mistake to buy Motorola. He argues that Google just did it to save Android, but instead I had to do was cut their losses, leaving Android.
We believe the chagrin of Adam has his reasons because of the difficulties that might arise. More than two thirds of large acquisitions cause a reduction in the value of the absorbing company, and most of them are less complicated than this. However, the central thesis of Adam says Android is not worth being saved, and that’s the part we asked.
Adam believes that Android, along with Google Chrome + and are examples of the struggles that Google has faced, because most are motivated by the leadership failed attempts to defend and expand the search and advertising business.
I agree to “defend and extend” strategy can be terrible, if the goal is to defend the major markets and minimize competition from others. About 25 years ago, Kodak sought to defend and expand its business of film, chemicals and paper in the face of digital photography; we can say is perhaps the clearest example of what we discussed. But there are plenty of others too. Polaroid also fell into the same trap with its instant film business. Arch Communications lost pagers billion buying companies in the nineties, and even as users were abandoning and replacing them with cell phones and emails.
“To defend and extend” is the right strategy, if used in the context of a growing market and to acquire a large potential gains. There are hundreds of billions of dollars spent on advertising and media promotions. In our opinion, Google has the right to take the same position and capture as much as possible.
Google’s Android strategy is a consequence of their assumptions about the future of mobile telephony, Alex Bara, one of the vendors Google executives described as:
“We focus on the mobile as an important part of our overall strategy. Mobile phones will soon have more reach than television, radio or the Internet.
The search has always been our business since many years. We make it easy to search as you go phones taking advantage of the location of each user.
Our strategy for mobile advertising is that we connect with people when they are using their device, whether you are looking for Internet browsing, watching videos or using some application. ”
In other words, the mobile is the growth of users and advertising, and Google wants desperately to bring his current success to new platforms. Android is necessary (though not sufficient) to allow that.
Imagine a scenario in which Google Android leaves. What part of almost 50% share of Android in the Smartphone market would move to Apple? How much would go to Microsoft? Other arch enemies in a world where smart phones were controlled by Steve Jobs. What would be the fate of Ad Mob Google, the industry leading mobile advertising networks? How Google would influence other important trends, such as NFC payments and social media?
It seems that the risk of abandoning Android would be too great, and perhaps fatal.
This does not mean, of course, that Google could not have done better with Android. It would be wrong to leave to Android. Ally is better than being in a constant battle; the phones have become a war in which Google will have to fight.
Special Applications PC 7
Freedom Android gives you about the freedom of not having to plug your phone to a computer or having to use management programs are a blessing, but that does not mean that we make good use of desktop software which will help us manage best in our archives and special music or podcasts.
Double Twist competition is more serious than we find in iTunes, the content manager of Apple and is so loved and hated. Double Twist may be the perfect tool for those with a good amount of music on their computers and want to manage it well, having the ability to pass and syncing to a mobile phone with Android. It also has support for podcasts, together seamlessly with iTunes; so much can be imported to their playlists.
As we say, is a great ally of Android as we have an application for the mobile that combines video, audio and images in one application, with a handful of features for free.
There is a call option pays Air Sync that lets you manage all this on a wireless carrier.
The application is available for Mac and Windows. Once the install, you will automatically import all the files in the images, videos and music, particularly something as uncomfortable, but then you can modify, you should choose to write the files to import or at least do a manual import the first time.
In addition to OSX users found impossible to manage podcast, announced that will soon be available but for now we have to settle in your home directory look and listen by streaming.
Once past these obstacles, the rest is sewing, singing and conveniently manage songs, playlists and podcasts.
We also find something very curious and are a browser for Android applications where we can find each QR code to download to your mobile phone.
